In Eisenhower’s Cabinet Charles E. Wilson Secretary of Defense LANDRUM NEWS By Mrs. C. M. Littlefield Jr. Misses Martha Durham and Norma Jean Holloman were week end guests of Misses Janet Jones, Gloria Simms and Sun shine Duncan at Winthrop College in Rockhill. Misses Durham and Holloman were overnight guests on Friday of Miss Mary Jane Curry at Simpsonville. Mr. and Mrs. M. B. Bishop and small son, Benjie, of Kannapolis, were week end guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hinton Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Mal colm Bishop. Pfc. John Neil of Camp Lejeune, N. C., visited with his wife and daughter, Patricia Elaine, this week end. Miss Glenna Carruth of Green ville was the guest of Mrs. Hattie Carruth Saturdav and Sunday. Mrs. L. L. Hill returned home Saturday after spending the week with L. L. Hill in Columbia. Mr. Hill underwent an operation last week at the Veterans Hospital and is doing nicely. Mrs. J. E. Hunsinger returned to Clinton Friday after visiting Ralph Hunsinger and Bennie. Miss Alma Daniel of Anderson is spending several days with her mother, Mrs. Bessie Daniel. Mrs. Clyde Carruth is recuper ating at her home following an operation at the General Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Burts Bristol and sons, Kenny and Ricky were week end guests of friends and rela tives at Hayesville, N. C.
